The biggest sale since Christmas. Don't miss it!
does this stack with any other codes/promos?
Whenever MPT has a sale like this, you cannot stack it with other promotions. They will cancel it and make you replace it.
Are there any upcoming sales?
They have a sale on the SCT LIvewire TS right now. MPT's sales are normally around holidays.
How's the SCT Livewire TS compare to the SCT X4? I have a 2016 F150 3.5EB
The LWTS has a larger, fully-colored, touchscreen display. It comes with a window mount as well, as it is designed for monitoring gauges and such along with tuning the vehicle. The X4 is more your standard programmer. You can monitor gauges with it, but it is more for plugging it in, doing what you gotta do, and then putting it away for safe keeping. The only positive the X4 has over the LWTS for your vehicle is it has the ability to calibrate the speedometer for aftermarket tire size. Only the X4 can do that on 2015+ F-150's. They use the exact same tunes, be it MPT's or SCT's preloaded ones.
What gauges can be monitored with it and what would be the advantage in monitoring those gauges? Can you give me an example?
Gauges will vary based on the vehicle model. That is something SCT controls. People like to monitor boost, knock, and timing on these trucks. While these trucks are known to knock stock, people like to keep tabs on it, as too high of knock is not a good thing. For example, the ecoboost can randomly knock from +1-4, while just being driven normally. If the knock value gets to 8 or above, that is a sign that something is not correct. Many factors can play into why it is knocking, but many people like to keep an eye on it.
