Last week my 2012 EB F150 started idling terribly after cold starts and sometimes stalls completely. As soon as it warms up a little it runs normally. Code scanner shows
P0011 Intake cam position timing over advanced bank 1
P0012 Intake cam position timing overRetarded bank 1
P0021 Intake cam position overAdvanced bank 2
P052A Cold start intake A cam position timing overAdvanced bank 1
P052C cold start intake A cam position timing overAdvanced bank 2
P054A cold start exhaust B cam position timing overAdvanced bank 1.

Anyone ever seen this and know the cause? 94.5k miles so no warranty left. Appreciate any help/input. T

Is your oil low? This is probably one of a few things:

    Stretched timing chain
    Timing chain tensioner is bad
    Jumped tooth in timing

Had a cam phaser go bad once that had similar codes too. Yours has codes on both sides so I'd assume it's directly related to the primary timing chain either way.

Sorry about the delayed response. I hope this helps you out bud!
